- Cancellations: Cancellation terms, including deadlines and any applicable fees, will be stated during booking and in your confirmation email.
- Refusals: We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or modify any booking that appears fraudulent, incomplete, or in violation of our policies.
4. Gift Certificates and Promotions
Gift certificates and promotional offers are subject to the terms provided at the time of issue. They are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
5. Guest Policy
To ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all guests, please review and respect our Guest Policy during your stay.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Guests are expected to arrive and depart within the stated times unless prior arrangements are made.
- Occupancy: Room occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Unauthorized guests may result in additional charges or cancellation of the reservation.
- Property Conduct: Please treat the property, furnishings, and grounds with care. Guests will be held responsible for any damage, theft, or excessive cleaning required due to their stay.
- Noise & Courtesy: Quiet hours are typically observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please be considerate of other guests.
- Pets: Pets are only permitted in designated rooms and must be declared at booking. Guests are responsible for any pet-related damages or additional cleaning fees.
- Smoking & Vaping: Root & Stem is a non-smoking property. Smoking, including e-cigarettes or vaping, is not permitted indoors or in guest rooms. A cleaning fee may apply for violations.
- Lost or Forgotten Items: We are not responsible for personal belongings left behind, but will make reasonable efforts to return found items upon request.
Failure to adhere to the Guest Policy may result in termination of the stay without refund.
6. Force Majeure
Root & Stem shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations, including honoring reservations, when such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Natural disasters (such as severe weather, floods, fires, or earthquakes).
- Acts of God or government action.
- Power or utility outages.
- Public health emergencies or travel restrictions.
- Strikes, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions.
- Accidents or unforeseen property damage.
In such cases, Root & Stem will make reasonable efforts to reschedule reservations, provide credit toward a future stay, or otherwise accommodate affected guests. However, refunds or compensation may not be guaranteed under these circumstances.

All content on this website, including text, images, design, and branding, is the property of Root & Stem or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
